Lighting

Our nests come equipped with glare-resistant glass viewing panes that offer a clear and unobstructed view of your colony for easy observation and photography. We also provide a red light filter layer allows for quick checkups without disturbing your ants' daily routine. And when it's time to give your colony some rest, the provided lid blocks out all light and keep your ants comfortable.

Hydration

Humidity control is essential to your ants' well-being. Our hydration system combines the ease of a water tower with the effective humidity distribution of a traditional sponge chamber. With our system, you can easily swap out the tube without disturbing your ants and let capillary action deliver steady and consistent humidity to your nest for a full week. Please note that while our system provides humidity, you'll still need to provide drinking water - check out our Liquid Feeders, or a Test Tube Jack from our Tubing Joints set with a traditional test tube setup for some stress free watering solutions!

Modular Design

Our nests are specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with all other Myrmeco products, providing endless possibilities for expansion and customization. With our magnetic snap extensions, you can easily expand your nest or add Myrmeco outworlds to your setup. However we also Myrmeco nests to be useful to DIY-ers and terrarium designers that want a quick and easy nest solution. Any 3/8" PVC vinyl tubing works with our nests allowing you to easily integrate our nests into your custom setup. We recommend taking a look at our Tubing Joint set to manage your custom tubing.
